Thiruvananthapuram: The PSC has informed the Human Rights Commission that it is actively considering asking questions in English along with the respective language to rectify the translation error that may occur when translating the question paper of the PSC exam into Tamil.
The move follows the intervention of the Human Rights Commission. The PSC secretary was directed by Justice Anthony Dominic, chairman of the commission, to take necessary action on a complaint that he was missing out on a job due to translation errors and typos in the Tamil medium question papers.
The PSC informed that the translation errors have been brought to the notice of the Commission. English questions will also be offered for exams in Malayalam, Tamil, and Kannada. He demanded that the complaint be resolved as soon as possible. The action was taken on a complaint filed by a candidate from Vandiperiyar.
