Thiruvananthapuram: According to the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Research Center, there is a possibility of 1.5 to 2.0 meter high waves and storm surge along the Kerala coast till 11.30 pm on March 7. In this situation, fishermen and coastal residents should be cautious, the State Disaster Management Authority said. It has been suggested to ensure the safety of fishing vessels and equipment and to avoid trips to the beach and recreation at sea.
