Thiruvananthapuram: Four trains, including Janashatabdi, have been canceled due to a shortage of passengers. The dates of some earlier canceled trains have also been extended. The Kozhikode-Thiru-Kozhikode Janashatabdi Special and Ernakulam-Kannur-Ernakulam Intercity trains will be canceled from June 1 to 15.
The previously canceled Shornur-Thiruvananthapuram-Shornur Venad Special, Ernakulam-Thiruvananthapuram-Ernakulam Vanchinad Special, Alappuzha-Kannur-Alappuzha Executive Special, Punalur-Guruvayur-Punalur Special, and Guruvayur-Thiru-Guruvayur Intercity Express will also be canceled from June 1.
Mangalore-Thiru. Malabar Special from June 1 to 15, Thiru-Mangalore Special from 2 to 16, Thiru-Kannur Janashatabdi Special from 2 to 14, Kannur-Thiru. Janashatabdi from 3 to 15, Chennai-Alappuzha daily special from June 1 to 15, and Alappuzha – Chennai special from 2 to 16 were also canceled.
The weekly Kochuveli-Mangalore (Antyodaya) Special will leave Kochuveli on June 3, 5, 10, and 12, while the Mangalore-Kochuveli Special will run on June 4, 6, 11, and 13. Special trains will also be canceled on June 6 and 13.
