Thiruvananthapuram: The first term examination of this academic year will begin on September 3. The time table is to end on 12. High school section exams will start at 3. UP category exams will start on 4th. The examination will start on 4th for Plus 2 students as well. The exam will start at 6 for LP category. There will be no entrance examination for first year students of higher secondary.
The duration of the exam will be two hours. Cool off time should be allowed between 10 am to 10.15 am and 1.30 pm to 1.45 pm on exam days. Friday afternoon exam will be from 2 to 4.15. There is no duration in classes one and two. The exam can be terminated as soon as the activities are completed.
According to the order of the director of public education, if the government declares a holiday on the exam days, then the exam should be held on the 13th. The school will close on the 13th for Onam. The school will open on the 23rd.
