Thiruvananthapuram: NIA will issue lookout notices for Popular Front leaders absconding in terrorism cases. The NIA is preparing to take action against Popular Front State General Secretary Abdul Sattar and Secretary CA Rauf. This kind of action is anticipating the possibility of the accused leaving the country.
Abdul Sattar, who is absconding, is the third accused in the case registered in Kerala for terrorist activities, while CA Rauf is the 12th accused in the case. The NIA says that both of them are also involved in attracting youth to terrorist organizations through social media. The NIA points out that both of them called for a hartal in the state.
Meanwhile, the arrested Popular Front activists will be produced in the Delhi NIA court today. The investigating agency will submit the evidence obtained so far to the court.
