Thiruvananthapuram: The Health Department has issued guidelines regarding the COVID protocol for students coming to write NEET 2020 from outside Kerala. Students who are unable to reach Kerala as early as possible to complete the 14 days of the quarantine period will also have the opportunity to appear for the examination.
Special classrooms and other facilities will be provided for those who arrive at the examination center during the quarantine. These students and their parents who come to Kerala must be on quarantine from the date of arrival and must complete 14 days if they remain in Kerala for more days.
Those who can complete exactly 14 days can write the exam like normal students. Those who want to return before the end of the quarantine period should stay in the quarantine for as long as they stay in Kerala. Special facilities will be set up at the center for students who confirm COVID positive and those coming from the containment zones to appear for the examination.
