Kozhikode: Four children have been found missing from the Kozhikode Vellimadukunnu Children’s Home. They were found from the Edakkara of Malappuram. The police arrested them while they were visiting a friend. Police have found 6 missing girls.
Six girls who went missing from a children’s home in Vellimadukunnu have been found in Bengaluru.
The hotel authorities identified the girls and tried to detain them, but five of them escaped. One has been detained by hoteliers and neighbors. The other five were not likely to go far and could be traced immediately with the help of the Bengaluru police.
The girls were found in Madiwala in Bengaluru. Six children, including sisters, went missing from the Kozhikode Children’s Home on Wednesday evening.
Earlier, they were housed in a children’s home as per the directions of the Child Welfare Committee. All six are under 18 years of age. Police say the children escaped with a clear plan. The Child Rights Commission had voluntarily registered a case in connection with the disappearance of the girls. The Republic Day celebration was held at the Children’s Home. The children went missing after this.
