Thiruvananthapuram: Minister Mohammad Riyas to suspend the officials of the road works. Minister Mohammad Riyaz directed to suspend the officers pointed out by the Public Works Vigilance Wing as they were aware of the high number of complaints regarding the irregularities in the construction of Malavila-Pulikeshi road in Kottarakkara Oomannur panchayath.
The complaint was that the road was being repaired without any damage and that the tarring of the road was being disturbed before the construction was completed. Following this, the minister sought a report from a special team tasked with investigating unnecessary repairs.
Minister Mohammad Riyas said that the people are requested to be informed as soon as possible if any such issues are noticed in each area.
