Thiruvananthapuram: Manoj Abraham, the Additional Director General of Police (ADGP) in charge of law and order, has been promoted. He has been appointed as the Chief of the Fire and Rescue Services at the Director General of Police (DGP) rank. A decision regarding who will take over his previous law and order responsibilities is yet to be made.
Manoj Abraham is a 1994 batch IPS officer. He currently serves as the Director of Vigilance. In the past, he has held key positions such as Inspector General of Police (IGP) for the Thiruvananthapuram Range, Nodal Officer of the Kerala Police Cyberdome, and Traffic Road Safety Officer.
