Thiruvananthapuram: KSRTC plans to travel by bus even if there is no money in hand. In order to attract more passengers to KSRTC, KSRTC is preparing a system to buy tickets through debit card and UPI app in collaboration with Chalo app. Once the contract process is completed, you can also travel on KSRTC buses by purchasing tickets through digital transactions. KSRTC has decided to extend this system which is currently in some buses in Thiruvananthapuram district.
Ticket payments can be made through Google Pay, Phone Pay, Paytm and other major banks’ apps. It can be used for existing travelcard and renewals. At the same time, it is reported that the credit card may not be used. The process of uploading information of more than 4000 buses on the Chalo app is in progress. Know where the bus has arrived, which buses are plying on the route and the arrival time of the bus.
