New Delhi: The NIA has raided 51 places in six states in the context of links between Khalistani separatist organizations and gangs. It is suspected that the gangs of Lawrence Bishnoi and Arshdeep Dalla, who have been identified by the Delhi Police as having links with the Pakistani terrorist organization Lashkar-e-Taiba, have planned to attack Hindu leaders in Punjab in collaboration with the Khalistans.
It is reported that many weapons, explosives and digital devices were seized during the search conducted by the NIA from Thursday morning.
According to the NIA, criminals like Dalla and Gaurav Patial are in foreign countries and are supplying funding and arms to Khalistani leaders.
Apart from this, it is also indicated that their planned crimes include murders according to orders and kidnapping and extortion of money. Many of these criminal gangs are based in Dubai.
The raids were in Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand and Delhi. Out of 51 places inspected, 30 are in Punjab.
Information about Lakhbir Singh alias Landa based in Canada, Harvinder Singh Rinda in Pakistan and Gurpatwant Singh Pannu in the US is being sought.
