Thiruvananthapuram: For the first time in India, a Smart Personal Hospital and an Automated Emergency Control Room have been set up for complete personal safety. Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan inaugurated the Joyce Touch integrated smart health watch. Performed in the CM’s Chamber. Ministers K Rajan and Adv. Rev. GR Anil, Archbishop of Thrissur- Mar Andrews, Founder and CEO, Shanti Bhavan Palliative Hospitals- Fr. Joy Koothur and others participated.
CPI state secretary Kanam Rajendran inaugurated the public meeting at Palayam YMCA Hall. The meeting was presided over by Mar Andrews, Archbishop of Thrissur and Chief Patron of Shanti Bhavan Palliative Hospitals. Shanti Bhavan Palliative Hospitals Co-Founder and CEO Rev. Fr Joy Koothur presented the project. The keynote address was delivered by Sister Maria Cara FSC, Franciscan Sisters of St. Clair Mother General, and Founder of Shanti Bhavan Palliative Hospitals.
Food and Public Distribution Minister GR Anil inaugurated the Joyce Touch Emergency Control Room, an emergency service run in collaboration with IMA’s Emergency Trauma Care, the Ambulance App, Goods Samaritan Response App, and the Volunteer App. The user app was inaugurated by KPCC General Secretary GS Babu and the Family Respondent app was inaugurated by Palayam Imam Dr. VP Suhaib Moulavi.
Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for launching an ambulance service in collaboration with IMA’s Emergency Trauma Care SS Lal, Vice Chairman and State Coordinator, Dr. John Panicker, handed over to Shanti Bhavan Palliative Hospitals Co-Founder and CEO, Rev. Fr. Joy Koothur, and Administrator, Sister Rosalba FSC.
With the help of a centralized emergency control room and telemedicine system, the Smart Personal Hospital is an innovative facility for individuals.
