Kochi: The case of Jasna missing case has been handed over to the CBI. The CBI informed the court that it could take over the investigation. The court directed the crime branch to hand over the case diary and other files to the CBI. The documents are to be handed over to the CBI Thiruvananthapuram unit. The High Court order was issued on a petition filed by Jasna’s brother Jayce John and KSU state president K.M. Abhijit and others.
The CBI has said that there is something serious behind Jasna’s missing and there is an inter-state intervention. The government had told the court that all possible investigations were ongoing and that Jasna had not yet been located. However, the petitioners contended that there was no hope of finding Jasna through the Crime Branch investigation.
