Jammu and Kashmir, Haryana Assembly Election Dates Announced;  Counting of votes on October 4

 Dates for Jammu and Kashmir and Haryana assembly elections have been announced.  Elections are being held in Kashmir after 10 years.  The election will be held in three phases.  The first phase of the election will be held on September 18.  The second phase will be held on September 25 and the final phase on October 1.  Counting of votes will be held on October 4.  Meanwhile, by-election dates were not announced.
