Thiruvananthapuram: There is a possibility of heavy rain in the state even today. Yellow Alert has been declared in 12 districts. The yellow alert was issued in all the districts except Kannur and Kasaragod. The rainfall is heavy in connection with the lunar year. More rainfall is likely in hilly areas.
Caution should be exercised in areas that have received rain in the last few days due to thunder and strong winds. There is currently no restriction on fishing off the coast of Kerala. A cyclone is likely to form in the Bay of Bengal today. It is also likely to become low pressure within the next 48 hours. Yellow alert has been declared in 11 districts tomorrow.
