Thiruvananthapuram: The 13th International Documentary Short Film Festival organized by the Kerala State Film Academy will be held from December 9 to 14 in Thiruvananthapuram. Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan will inaugurate the fair on December 9 at 6 pm. Culture Minister Saji Cherian presided over the function, which was attended by Ministers Roshi Augustine, Antony Raju and VN Vasavan and others will be present.
The short film festival will be held on Audi 1, 4, 5, and 6 screens at Aries Plex Plus SL Theater. The films will be screened in the categories of Long Documentary, Short Documentary, Short Fiction, Non-Competitive Malayalam, International Fiction, International Non-Fiction, Animation, and Music Video. The fair has national-level competition in fiction and non-fiction categories and state-level competition in the campus category. 220 films including Curated and Homage sections are included in the festival.
The delegate fee is Rs 400 for the general category and Rs 200 for students. You can pay online at the website. Kerala Chalachithra Academy Secretary Ajoy Chandran said that one can also register offline from the Delegate Cell operating at Aries Plex Plus SL Theater.
