Thiruvananthapuram: Following the increase in liquor tax in the state, the Beverages Corporation has released the revised price list. The cabinet also decided to increase taxes on beer and wine by 10 percent and others by 35 percent. Liquor bottles from the bars were also allowed to be parceled out. The Cabinet also approved an amendment to the Excise Act to implement new decisions, including the online token system.
