Kochi: Police arrested a Bangladeshi citizen who was conducting human trafficking through airports. Ernakulam Rural District Crime Branch arrested Muhammad Abdul Shukur (32), a native of Chittagong, Bangladesh. Police arrested him from Mangalore airport.
Fake passport, PAN card, Aadhaar card and bank documents were recovered from Abdul Shukur. On the 27th, 4 Bangladeshis were arrested for trying to enter Sharjah with fake documents through Nedumbassery airport. They tried to leave under the pretense of being Indians. During the investigation conducted by the District Crime Branch under the leadership of District Police Chief Vivek Kumar, information was received about the racket of preparing and issuing fake documents.
The main agent of the gang, Abdul Shukur, was caught by the police while bringing two people to smuggle abroad through the Mangalore airport. He is doing human trafficking by bringing people from Bangladesh to India and preparing documents including passports.
