Thiruvananthapuram: The railway authorities have released the approximate ticket prices of Vandebharat Express. The information coming out is that it will be Rs. 2150 for the Thiruvananthapuram-Kannur executive chair car. This is also the highest rate of Vandebharat in Kerala.
The basic chair car fare is Rs. 241 and the executive chair car fare is Rs 502 for a 50 km journey. Thiruvananthapuram-Kannur chair car fare will be Rs.1100 and executive chair car fare will be Rs.2150. Thiruvananthapuram-Kottayam chair car fare is Rs. 441 and executive chair car fare is Rs 911. The ticket price for Thiruvananthapuram-Eranakulam journey will be Rs. 520 and Rs. 1070. Thiruvananthapuram-Thrissur fare will be Rs. 617 and Rs. 1260 respectively. The fare for Thiruvananthapuram-Kozhikode will be Rs. 801 and Rs. 1643 respectively.
The first trial run of Vande Bharat was completed yesterday. Prime Minister will flag off on 25th of this month. The information coming out is that one more trial run may be done before this. During the first trial run, the timing of many trains was affected. It has been decided to evaluate this and conduct a trial run again.
