Kochi: Heavy rains are likely in Kerala for the next three days. Meteorological Department announced the Yellow alert in three districts on tomorrow. Yellow Alert is in Pathanamthitta, Alappuzha and Idukki districts. There will be isolated rainfall here. Heavy rains are expected in Kerala and Lakshadweep.
Thundershowers are expected in Kerala and Lakshadweep till September 1, the Met Department said. Heavy rainfall is expected for three days from 28 to 30 August. Some areas may receive 7 to 11 cm of rain these days.
Strong winds are likely to blow at 45-55 km / h from the southwest. High tides are expected in the southwestern Arabian Sea at 4.0 meters. Winds are likely to blow in the southeastern and central Bay of Bengal at speeds of 4555 km / s. Fishermen should not go fishing in these areas.
