Thiruvananthapuram: The India Meteorological Department has issued a heavy rain warning for the state from Tuesday. The forecast predicts the possibility of isolated heavy rainfall. The term “heavy rain” refers to rainfall ranging from 64.5 mm to 115.5 mm within a 24-hour period. As part of the warning, yellow alerts have been issued for several districts.

Friday (April 4): Pathanamthitta, Idukki, Ernakulam, Palakkad, Wayanad
Thunderstorm Alert:
The India Meteorological Department has also issued a thunderstorm warning for Kerala, predicting thunderstorms with lightning and winds reaching 30 to 50 km/h, continuing until Friday (April 5).
