Naipaido: A landslide occurred in Myanmar caused the death of 59 people in Myanmar following heavy rains. Several houses have been trapped in the landslide that followed the rains that have continued for the past week.
The heavy downpour in the inland hilly region of Pauang was the worst hit. Homes and schools were flooded. The locals are isolated. Many people are reported to be trapped in the mud. More than 80,000 people have been evacuated to relief centers, the United Nations said.
