Four trains have been canceled in the state due to heavy rains. Guruvayur-Thrissur Daily Express, Thrissur – Guruvayur Daily Express, Shornur-Thrissur Daily Express and Thrissur – Shornur Daily Express have been cancelled. Rail traffic from Thrissur to the north, from Shornur and Palakkad to Thrissur and Ernakulam was completely stopped due to the flood.
Due to heavy waterlogging between Vallathol Nagar and Vadakancherry due to heavy rains, train services have been partially cancelled.
Train No. 16305 Ernakulam Kannur Inter City will terminate at Thrissur. Meanwhile, Train No. 16791 Tirunelveli Palakkad Palaruvi Express will terminate at Aluva and Train No. 16302 Thiruvananthapuram Shornur Venad Express will terminate at Chalakudy.
