Thiruvananthapuram: Will include 12 items in the free food kit for the month of May, says Supplyco. Five kilograms of rice will be included in the guest workers’ kit.
In a press conference yesterday, Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan announced that the distribution of free food kits will continue this month as well. The CM said that it will start giving from next week. Kits has been distributing free food kits in the state every month since covid breakout. The CM said that this will continue this month.
A complete lockdown is in progress in the state following the second wave of Covid. The lockdown was announced until May 16. The restrictions were tightened as part of a drive to control the spread of Covid.
