Kottayam: Five youth were killed in a car accident in Mananthur in Kottayam. The deceased have been identified as Vishnuraj, Jobin, Subin, Pramod, and Ullas from Kakakkad. Prabhat, who was with them, was admitted to the Medical College with serious injuries.
The accident occurred at about 6 in the evening. The accident happened on the way back to the excursion in Wayanad.
When they crossed another vehicle, the car lost control and thrashed them in a mile. As the car was in a hurry, the car crashed into a nearby shop. Locals say the three have been out of the vehicle while the accident occurred. Three people were killed when they arrived at the Pala General Hospital. The other two died after being taken to the Medical College.
