Varkala: In Varkala, a newlywed was killed by her husband by hitting her on the head with a wick lamp. Nikita (26) was killed. Her husband Anish was arrested. The police say that Anish has mental problems. In the morning, the family comes hearing Nikhila’s screams.
Nikhila, who was hit on the head, was rushed to the hospital but was confirmed dead. Their marriage was on July 8. Anish and Nikita got married three months ago. Anish was working abroad.
Nikita was killed at her husband’s house around 2 am. The murder was at the end of the argument. The relatives told the police that there used to be frequent fights between the two. The police said that Anish is a mentally ill person.
Nikita’s body has been shifted to Varkala Taluk Hospital. A few days ago, both of them started staying at Anish’s house in Varkala. The police said that Anish’s suspicion towards his wife was the reason for the murder.
Anish’s parents were also present in the house when the incident took place. The police informed that more information can be given only after the body’s scientific department arrives.
