Thiruvananthapuram: Union Health Ministry directed the state that the Onam celebrations should be in a controlled manner. The Ministry of Health has sent a letter to states including Kerala regarding the proposal. The celebrations in the coming months should also be strictly controlled. The Ministry of Health has informed the state that action is necessary to control the spread of covid.
The daily increase of covid in Kerala continues unchanged for a month. In this regard, letters have been sent to seven states. The center has also pointed out that the positivity rate is above ten percent in five districts in Kerala.
The criticism of the Center has pointed out the decrease in the number of tests in the period between August 4 and 28 in 10 districts of the state. The Center also estimates that the inspection has decreased in thirteen districts. The Center also points out that 7.8 percent of the weekly cases in the country are in Kerala.
