Palakkad: Police filed a charge sheet in Palakkad CPIM branch secretary Shahjahan’s murder case. The charge sheet states that the reason for the murder was political enmity and personal enmity. There are 12 accused in the 304-page charge sheet.
Shahjahan was killed on the night of August 14. Shahjahan was cut down by two groups on bikes. According to the postmortem report, Shahjahan was killed due to cuts on his neck and legs. 2 out of 10 cuts are deep. The post-mortem report also stated that there was excessive bleeding from the wounds.
