New Delhi: The Central Meteorological Department has forecast normal southwest monsoon (intermittent) in the country this time. However, the Central Meteorological Department has forecast a normal monsoon in the state.
The first long-term forecast of the Meteorological Department indicates that the average rainfall in India from June to September will be 98% of the long-term average. India’s long-term average monsoon rainfall is 88 cm.
There is a 40% chance that the monsoon will return to normal this time. The chance of getting more rain than usual is 16 percent. The forecast is for a 25 percent chance of receiving less than normal rainfall.
