Thiruvananthapuram: Police filed a charge sheet in the Parashala Sharon murder case. According to the charge sheet, Greeshma committed a planned murder to get rid of Sharon. It is stated in the charge sheet that Sharon was killed by inviting her to her home for sexual intercourse through sex chat and the herbicide Carpic was mixed in the tincture. The charge sheet was filed in the Neyyattinkara Magistrate Court. The charge sheet contains 142 witness statements and 57 documents.
The charge sheet is being issued on the 85th day since Greeshma’s arrest. On October 14 last year, Greeshma poisoned Sharon. Sharon was admitted to the hospital with physical discomfort and died on the 25th.
At first, the Parassala police concluded that it was a natural death. Grishma later confessed to the crime after investigation and interrogation by a special team. According to the police charge sheet, mother Sindhu and uncle Nirmal Kumaran Nair destroyed the evidence after realizing that her daughter was a murderer. The accused have been charged with murder and destruction of evidence.
The second and third accused admitted that the accused had left the poisoned bottle at a place far away from the house and this was recovered during the evidence. The High Court granted bail to the second accused Sindhu. The charge sheet was filed by DySP Rasit, who is in charge of the district crime branch. The charge sheet is issued following the order of the High Court that the trial of the Sharon case can be conducted in Kerala itself.
