New Delhi: India’s third mission to the Lunar will be completed by 2020 Jitendra Singh, Minister of State for External Affairs said.
“The Lander and Rover mission will be implemented in 2020. Chandrayaan 2 was not a failure, we have learned a lot from it. No country in the world has succeeded in its first attempt, and even the United States has tried many times. But we don’t need that much effort, ‘says Jitendra Singh.
Chandrayaan 2 was India’s first mission to land on the Lunar. The crash happened on September 7 while trying to land on the moon. Jitendra Singh confirmed this in Parliament. Had the mission been successful, India would have been the fourth country in the world to have successfully landed a soft landing.
The US, former USSR, and China are countries that have done soft landing before. But so far no one has been able to land in the South. The remains of the shattered Vikram Lander were confirmed by an Indian engineer, NASA.
