Due to the omicron variant of covid, the number of cases is increasing in many countries. Omicron has also been found in large numbers in India, the Prime Minister said.
The Prime Minister advised the people to be vigilant and use masks regularly and disinfect their hands without panic. The Prime Minister said that following all the guidelines at the individual level is the best weapon against corona.
Today, the country has 18 lakh isolation beds, 5 lakh oxygen support beds, 1.4 lakh ICU beds and 90,000 special beds for children. We have over 3,000 operational PSA oxygen plants. He also said that 4 lakh cylinders have been distributed to all the states.
