New Delhi: The BJP parliamentary party meeting in Delhi has selected V Muraleedharan as the deputy chief whip of the Rajya Sabha. V Muraleedharan is currently Union Minister of State for External Affairs. Union Home Minister Prahlad Joshi is the Chief Whip of the Government. Sanjay Jaiswal was appointed as the Chief Whip of the BJP in the Lok Sabha and Narayan Lal Panjari as the selected as Chief Whip of the Rajya Sabha.
Tawar Chand Gehlot will be party leader of the Rajya Sabha and Piyush Goyal as Vice-Chairperson. Arjun Ram Mekh has been elected deputy chief whip of the Lok Sabha.
