New Delhi: Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman said in her budget presentation that Atmanirbhar Bharat is a package that has not been implemented anywhere else in the world. The Finance Minister arrived in Parliament with an Indian-made tab containing the budget. The Pradhan Mantri Gareeb Yojana helped the poor. The finance minister said the self-help packages were introduced at a cost of 13 percent of GDP.
Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman has said that the Union Budget for the financial year 2021-22 will focus on six areas. Health and Welfare, Infrastructure, Comprehensive Development, Human Capital Development, Research and Development, and Minimum Government Maximum Governance are the six pieces of the current Union Budget. The Finance Minister made this clear in the introduction of the budget presentation.

With the Covid crisis looming over the country, 137 percent more money has been allocated to the health sector this year than last year. Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman said in her budget announcement that the national health institutions would be revived as part of a drive to further strengthen the health sector, including a Rs 64,180 crore project.
The Finance Minister announced that the fight against Covid will continue as Covid spreads in the country and two more Covid vaccines will be available in the country soon. Accordingly, Rs 35,000 crore has been earmarked for the Covid vaccine.
FM said the Atmanirbhar Bharat project had helped keep the country afloat during the lockdown.
Three self-help packages have been announced at a cost of 13 percent of GDP. A total of Rs 27.1 lakh crore worth of self-help packages have been announced. FM said the Atma Nirbhar Bharat package had helped double the income of farmers.
Praising the country’s Covid struggle, the Finance Minister said that India has the lowest Covid death rate with only 112 deaths and 130 active cases per 10 lakh population and these have laid the foundation for the current economic recovery.
