Srinagar: For the first time since the covid lockdown, train services in Kashmir have been partially resumed. Train services have been suspended since the 10th of last month due to the covid storm. Two trains have started service between Budgam and Banihal. But services to Baramulla have not started yet. The new decision of the Central Government will bring much relief to the passengers. In the days when there was no train service, many people used to travel in private vehicles at huge costs. Private vehicles used to charge up to Rs 800 for places where the train had to pay a ticket charge of Rs 80. The traffic jam on the roads was also severe.
