New Delhi: Parliamentary Affairs Minister Prahlad Singh Joshi has said that there will be no winter session of Parliament. The government has made its position clear in a reply to a letter from Congress Lok Sabha leader Adhir Rajan Chaudhary.
The government had earlier hinted that there would be no assembly session in the Covid context. However, the government rejected Chaudhary’s demand that the assembly convenes in the wake of the farmers’ agitation. The letter said the decision was taken after consultations with all political parties.
