The Supreme Court said Kejriwal to remain in jail

New Delhi: The Supreme Court has asked Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal to remain in jail until the High Court’s verdict on bail in the liquor scam case. The Supreme Court’s order came in a petition filed by Kejriwal against the high court’s withholding of bail granted by the trial court. The court also said that the plea will be considered again on Wednesday.

The trial court granted bail on June 20, but the Delhi High Court stayed the bail on a petition filed by the ED challenging this. The bail was stayed for two or three days to study the entire documents of the case.
