Kathmandu: The plane with 22 passengers on board went missing from Nepal. Flight details were reportedly not available for more than an hour. The plane carrying 22 people from Pokhara to Jomsom has gone missing. It is learned that there are Indians on the plane.
Airport officials say they have lost contact with the plane for hours. Tara Air’s 9 NAET aircraft took off at 9.55 went missing. The plane soon disappeared from radar. The missing plane was carrying four Indians and three Japanese nationals. The rest are natives of Nepal.
The Interior Ministry has deployed two private helicopters from Mustang and Pokhara to search for the missing plane. Home Ministry spokesman Fadindra Mani said the Nepal Army was also preparing to deploy helicopters for the search.
