Jammu: The National Investigation Agency (NIA) will file a charge sheet in the Pulwama attack case in the NIA court in Jammu today. 40 CRPF personnel was martyred in an IED blast on February 14 last year. The agency is filing a 5,000-page charge sheet in a Jammu court detailing how the planning and execution of the worst terror attack in Kashmir took place from Pakistan.
In February last year, a suicide bomber struck a car loaded with explosives, killing at least 40 soldiers. The NIA had informed the court in July that the seventh accused, Bilal Ahmed Kuche, had been arrested on July 5.
Kuche, who lives in Hajibal, Kakapora, and Jammu and Kashmir, said he runs a timber mill in his area and provided logistical support and expansion to Jaish-e-Muhammad (JM) militants involved in the Pulwama attack. The main culprits in the case stayed at his home, and Kuche introduced them to other ground workers (OGWs). He also provided high-quality mobile phones to JM militants to communicate with the Pakistan-based JM leadership. He gave the final touches to their planning and execution of the attack.
He used one of his mobile phones to record a video clip of militant Adil Ahmed Dar. The video was widely circulated on social media after the attack.
