New Delhi: There are reports that an Indian national who went to Turkey for work is missing. India’s Ministry of External Affairs has confirmed that an Indian citizen who was affected by the massive earthquake that killed more than 8,500 people has not yet been found.
10 Indians are stranded in different parts of Turkey but they are safe, said the Ministry of External Affairs. He came to Turkey on a visitor visa.

External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar said that under ‘Operation Dost’, India is providing materials, supplies, medical aid and equipment to Syria and participating in rescue operations.
More than 11,000 people are yet to be found. The search is on for them. Foreign aid from various countries has started reaching the region.
