Jeddah: Authorities have withdrawn the ban on suspended Zamzam water Cans. Air India flights have been banned from Jeddah to Hyderabad and Mumbai sectors for AI 966 and AI-964 for service in Kochi sector.
The reason for the hajj service was that it was restricted because it was using medium-sized aircraft instead of the big ones. This, however, made it difficult for commuters. Air India has issued a new circular expressing regret over the passengers’ distress.
Meanwhile, the Ministry of Hajj Umra has instructed Indian pilgrims to accept water from Saudi Arabia’s authorized Zamzam water only. The water from the Zamzam well in Mecca Masjid is approved.
