New Delhi: The Supreme Court has rejected the demand to postpone the NEET examination for medical admission. The apex court rejected a petition filed by a section of students seeking postponement of the exam.
The petition referred to the covid situation. The court ruled that the exam, which was written by 16 lakh students, could not be postponed due to the demand of some students. The court also issued notice to the Central Government on a petition questioning the decision to ensure 27 per cent OBC reservation and 10 per cent financial reservation in medical and dental admissions.
