New Delhi: The Financial Action Task Force (FATF) has blacklisted Pakistan for its financial assistance to terrorist organizations. The FATF is an international coalition aimed at curbing money laundering and to stop money laundering.
The FATF had given Pakistan time till May this year to stop financing terrorist organizations in the country. The FATF found that Pakistan failed to meet this. Thus FATF has reached a tough decision as Pakistan has failed to meet 38 of the 40 criteria.
