Srinagar: Terrorists are reportedly receiving crores of funds. Based on this information, the National Investigation Agency launched an investigation. The NIA has launched inspections at 50 places in 14 districts of Jammu. Raid is suspected of providing financial support to terrorist activities. The investigation is progressing simultaneously in all 50 suspected areas.
The search is being carried out in Srinagar, Baramulla, Kupwara, Bandipore, Budgam, Ganderbal, Anantnag, Shopian, Pulwama, Kulgam, Ramban, Doda, Kishtwar, and Rajouri districts with the help of CRPF and local police. The houses of Jammu and Kashmir Jamaat-e-Islami leaders and others have also been raided.
On July 31, 14 places were raided. Police say 10 people have been arrested so far in connection with terrorist funding.
