Lucknow: A rare disease is spreading in Uttar Pradesh. Six people died, including five children. About 80 people are being treated at various hospitals in the state. The disease was first reported in Kon village in Mathura.
Six, including children aged one, two, and six, died of the rare disease. Health experts say no further information has been received about the disease. The disease has also been reported in Bharatpur, Rajasthan.
The Uttar Pradesh Chief Medical Officer said that doctors had visited the village where the disease was reported and collected samples. Rachna Gupta informed. The samples were collected for testing for diseases including malaria, dengue, and corona.
However, the state health department said the cause of the disease was not clear and could only be confirmed after the samples were examined. Authorities said an alert had been issued in the village.
