Ayodhya, India – The Ram Lalla idol was installed in the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya on Monday, marking a historic moment for India. The six-day-long consecration ceremony, which began on January 17, culminated in the installation of the 51-inch-tall stone idol of the five-year-old Ram.
The ceremony was attended by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat, Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra trust chairman Mahant Nrityagopal Das, Uttar Pradesh Governor Anandiben Patel, and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.
The installation of the idol took place at 12:29:8 pm, during the auspicious Muhurat. The ceremony lasted for 84 seconds. Pandit Lakshmikant Dixit, under the supervision of Ganeshwar Shastri Dravid of Kashi, led the pujas.
