New Delhi: Rahul Gandhi will approach the High Court against the Surat Sessions Court verdict. Manu Abhishek Singhvi and Chidambaram appeared in the High Court for Rahul. At the same time, Congress alleged that there was a mistake in the court verdict.
Surat Sessions Court did not stay the Surat CJM court verdict in the case of defaming the Modi community, Rahul Gandhi is approaching the High Court. Congress has stated that it will file an appeal in the Gujarat High Court soon.
Rahul’s remarks were not against any community. Manu Abhishek Singhvi said that the reason given in the judgment was completely wrong and the court did not even consider the basic principles of law.
Manu Abhishek Singhvi pointed out that Rahul Gandhi’s voice cannot be suppressed. At the same time, Rahul’s legal team has made all preparations to approach the High Court.
The move is to get a favorable verdict from the High Court. Manu Singhivi and Chidambaram may appear for Rahul in the High Court. If there is no favorable verdict from the High Court, Rahul will have to approach the Supreme Court.
