Earlier, Poojaris wore saffron kurta, dhoti and turban. Some of the priests had also arrived with yellow dress. A special dress was introduced for the priests to identify them quickly. Mobile phone ban is part of security.
The Ram temple has a chief priest and four assistant priests. There will be 20 trainees to help them. Puja time in the temple is from 3.30 am to 11 pm. The trust says that each team of priests should spend five hours on the temple’s rituals.
