New Delhi: Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan discussed preparations to deal with the threat of Covid in Kerala with Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The meeting was also in the context of the rising threat of covid in the country. The meeting was held at the Prime Minister’s office in the South Block near the Parliament.
The two leaders discussed the preparations to face the threat of covid. The Chief Minister informed the Prime Minister about the measures being taken in Kerala for the prevention of covid. The achievements of Kerala in the prevention of covid were also explained.
Discussions were also held regarding expediting central projects. The Chief Minister also asked the Prime Minister to strengthen the relationship between the Central and State Governments and intervene in the speedy completion of central projects. Activities being carried out in Kerala related to the development of national highways were also discussed in the meeting. Chief Secretary V P Joy also attended the meeting.
The Chief Minister gifted Kerala’s Kathakali sculpture to the Prime Minister and conveyed New Year greetings. The Prime Minister also conveyed his greetings.
