New Delhi: Leading global digital payment company Paypal is ending its services in India. The company said in a statement that it would close its domestic payment business in India from April 1. At the same time, global consumers will continue to have the opportunity to use PayPal to pay Indian traders.
From April 1, 2021, we will focus on making more international deals available to Indian businesses. Paypal is diverting attention from domestic services. This means that from April 1, Paypal’s domestic payment services will not be available in India, the company said.
So far, PayPal has been able to make payments through various applications such as travel, ticketing services, online film booking, and food delivery. But customers will no longer have this facility.
